World Down Syndrome Day

World Down Syndrome Day is celebrated annually on March 21st.  The significance of that date is because Down syndrome is caused by a triplication of the 21st chromosome.  Each year we plan activities that celebrate what makes each person with Down syndrome unique and we educate through outreach programs like DS101 and Read for Inclusion.
